Vespas are happy in New Orleans

They probably think they are still riding around in Italy.  There's nothing like cruising the Crescent City on your Vespa.  It's perfect for passing up horse and buggies and pulling up to your favorite restaurant in the French Quarter.  Buzz past Jackson Square, through Downtown and on to the Garden District - you'll feel like you're on vacation! 

Here are a few more reasons

They're beautiful, fun and practical. 

In New Orleans you can ride year round. There're no winter storms that will trap your scooter under snow or ice for weeks. Hurricane, schmurricane.

Roll up your beach towel, throw your sunscreen in your top case and ride out to the Lakefront.  Feel like going a little further?  Then head out to Highway 90 and ride to Bay St. Louis, Gulfport or beyond. 

Think of the elaborate Mardi Gras costume you'll be able to afford with the money you will be saving on gas. Most of our bikes get 60 - 70 miles a gallon. You can ride all week for less than four bucks.

For those people living downtown it makes owning a 2nd car unnecessary.  Gas and insurance combined for a year averages in the $500 - $600 range.  And you may never have to pay for parking again.

Pick up a friend or carry your little dog in a pouch. Vespas comfortably seat two riders and depending on your dog, are very happy passengers.

The Big Easy is easy with a push button electric start and automatic shift.

Scooters are lady-friendly. With the "step through" design, you don't have to hike up your skirt. In addition to an under the seat helmet compartment and optional top case, there is a glove compartment and bag hook for a extra space.

Join the New Orleans Vespa Club and be invited to more parades in a  year than you can count. But then, everyday seems like a parade on your Vespa!
